Webinar Description:

Since its inception in 2009, OUP’s mission has been to foster deep partnerships with universities with three goals in mind: 1) to invest in their spinouts, 2) to help improve technology transfer effectiveness, and 3) to help improve research commercialization by connecting university startups to our network for funding and recruitment opportunities. Please join OUP for a webinar where we dive into specifics around how we work with our academic partners and continually work to achieve our mission.

This webinar will cover the OUP investment model, how OUP sources and tracks deals, our diligence process, how investment decisions are made, and the importance of Participation Rights in our model. We will highlight the programs we offer our academic partners, including our partner portal, the startup license database, and the Smartsheet Startup Tracker.

The intended audience for this webinar is individuals who have recently joined a technology transfer office at an OUP Partner institution, are new to the OUP relationship, and/or in a technology transfer role but not yet an OUP Partner institution.
