Professor Schiros is an Associate Professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and a Research Scientist at Columbia University. She is engaged in transdisciplinary research developing wearable technology, nanomaterials for low power electronics and clean energy technology, green chemistry recycling of textile waste, and biofabrication of performance textiles, including microbial bioleather. Professor Schiros co-founded Werewool in 2020 and AlgiKnit in 2017.
